About Me:
There’s a new husband and wife singing duo in town known for their “Truth Music” – meet Asaph & LeYah Yashar’el. Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, this Hebrew duo has deep roots in the music industry. Formerly known as Chip Dixson, Asaph served as a music producer and songwriter for prominent groups like DarkChild and Bad Boy Entertainment, collaborating with leading secular and gospel artists over the years. Meanwhile, LeYah built her career as a professional background singer, notably working with the production company “Pajam” (J Moss) before joining forces with Asaph’s production team to lend her voice and arranging skills to various gospel artists.
The couple tied the knot in 2008 but underwent a significant awakening in late 2017, prompting them to set aside their music careers and embark on a journey of truth. Asaph transitioned into a role as a Moreh (Teacher/Pastor) around 2021, establishing their ministry, 4Runners Assemblies, with LeYah and their two children, Kira and Collin, by his side. However, after several years of ministry, they felt a calling back to music.
On March 1st, 2024, Asaph and LeYah released their first project, “Praise Through The Fire,” featuring collaborations with prominent figures in the truth music scene such as Lorvins, Yapah Q, J Lutch, and Zamar Yashar’el. As a skilled music producer and songwriter, Asaph strives for versatility, aiming to connect with audiences from all walks of life. Similarly, LeYah’s vocal prowess knows no bounds, as the duo embraces various musical styles and enjoys experimentation while maintaining a core focus on worship and exalting the true name of The Creator.
With a deep-seated desire to serve The Most High Yah and a profound love for the people of Yashar’el, Asaph and LeYah are driven by a mission to reach the lost sheep and facilitate a return to Yahuah/Yahusha.
