Brotha Minister: The Sound of Return
From pulpit to purpose—a 59-year journey etched in revelation. Formerly an ordained minister in the Sunday church, a father of four, a husband, a seeker. In 2017, the veil lifted: the understanding that this Black man is a blood-born descendant of the ancient biblical Israelites. A new identity demanded a new name. First, YAHMOH. Then, YAHzah—YAH’s salvation sounded out.
Now, simply: Brotha Minister. A title that needs no translation. A mantle that carries the weight of scripture and the warmth of home. His mission is sound. Not the polished hymns of a distant faith, but The Gritty Gospel—scripture stripped raw, Psalms rebuilt from the pavement up, prophecy channeled through the rhythm of now. This is spiritual music that doesn’t just speak to the soul; it speaks its language.
And in the lab: his eleven-year-old son, co-producer, the next generation’s ear. Together, they bridge the ancient and the urgent, transforming scripture-based poetry into bass-heavy truth that his generation can feel in their bones.
This is more than music. It’s a homecoming. A testament. A father and son, tuning the frequency of faith to the heartbeat of a people remembering who they are.
